FlashForward
This show is rocking my world. The pacing is brilliant. Last week's episode The Gift left me on a personal level saying "No!" while on a literary level saying "Yes!"
Warning Comments may contain spoilers, however please only discuss the T.V. show. I have not read the book and won't till after the first season is over.

Return of the Radio Drama (Podcast)
Mar. 4th, 2007 | 03:03 pm
location: Lundi
mood:
excited
While I was at Arisia in January There were 2 Live audio drama presentations, one by Post-Meridian Radio Players and the second by Second Shift. I enjoyed the show and looked forward to checking out the Second Shift podcasts.
A month and a half goes by, and
gospog mentions he is looking for gaming oriented podcasts to listen to on the way to work. I remembered Second Shift and decided to check out their podcast. I am glad I did. The story itself is fairly traditional (3 college students from Boston, who end up being mysteriously summoned to the magical land of Lundi), but it still has some suprises.
The characters are believable and complex. The first season story arch is complete (13 episodes), although it has an end of season cliffhanger.
I can't wait till season two starts.

An evening out
Aug. 9th, 2006 | 01:21 pm
mood:
happy
Last night I went to “Shakespeare in the Park” on the Boston Common with
maedbh7,
xuth &
crazybone. The play was The Taming of the Shrew which is not one of my favorites (I prefer Twelfth Night, or Midsummer Night’s Dream) but I thought it would be worth the trip.
( How I got there )
( The Play )
( After the Play )
All together a fine evening.
